Bedford Drive is an inclusive welcoming school that recognises the achievements of all.

We aim to:

  • create learners for the future. For pupils to believe in themselves and become confident, independent and self-motivated with the necessary basic skills to succeed.

  • work in partnership with staff, parents, governors and the wider community to create a learning environment that is respectful and tolerant of others, instilling traditional values of hard work, good manners and self-discipline.

  • provide a safe and secure school with a strong, caring ethos, promoting the healthy development of all.

  • inspire pupils through an exciting and excellent curriculum that promotes enjoyment and life-long learning.

Our behaviour policy sets out our approach to managing behaviour at our school and details how we recognise and promote good behaviour. Please refer to the Policies page to access the Behaviour Policy.

Anti-Bullying

We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school.  If bullying does occur, all pupils should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.  We are a TELLING school.  This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell the staff. For our Anti-Bullying Policy and Children’s Bullying Charter, please refer to our Policies page and the Bullying Information for Parents attached below.
